My Practice
My practice in Santa Barbara is devoted to work with children, adolescents, and young adults with learning, medical, or neurological concerns. The heart of my practice includes both neuropsychological and psychological evaluation, as well as psychotherapy and behavioral interventions. In addition to my practice, I consult with local school districts and Cottage Hospital, and have directed a program for children with difficulties in attention and executive skills (Achieve Santa Barbara). My treatment philosophy is eclectic in that it combines understanding both the developmental and psychodynamic roots of concerns, and relies on both insight/self-knowledge and cognitive and behavioral changes to increase happiness and improve functioning.
